Your profile and LinkedIn
Your profile stays private until you publish it, and publishing alone does not list it in public search.
- Open your profile settings and find Visibility.
- Choose Publish profile, check the address under Profile URL, then choose Publish.
- Tick List my profile in public search.
Without that box ticked, your profile is link-only: people can open it from its link, but it is not in public search results.
You need a profile before you can publish it. If yours is empty, choose Start my profile first.
